The response to Whistle, the first volume published in the Asemic Front Series, has been supportive, generous and humbling. A huge thrill, shared here, are these stunning photos of selected Whistle pages taken by acclaimed asemic writer and artist Rosaire Appel of New York City.

Rosaire Appel's work is widely known and circulated in the asemic writing and visual poetry communities (and far beyond as well). Those familiar with her work are, no doubt, aware of her skills as a photographer. She has a unique and deeply perceptive "eye" capable of locating instances of visionary resonance in the mundane and much-trodden places where so many others lacking her abilities have failed to find them. Thus she fulfills a vital role of the artist in society.

Rosaire Appel's photos have given me deeper insights into Whistle, and I am much closer to the work than most. So I encourage viewers here and elsewhere to to explore Rosaire's vision.
