Asemic visual poetry by Robin Jeree (Arlington, Texas, USA)
I am very pleased to share new work by Asemic Front 2 contributor Robin Jeree. Her last appearance was in August of 2019:
Asemic Front 2: Asemic Art and Writing by Robin Jeree
I believe these new pieces show an extraordinary artistic evolution since her original appearance. Robin Jeree has moved from somewhat tentative, fragmentary experiments (nevertheless of great interest!) to a highly accomplished, stylistically decisive calligraphy with some vestiges of the abstract expressionism that haunt so much contemporary asemic writing.
I believe Robin Jeree has done a great service to her own work & to us, the AF2 audience, by moving in the direction of calligraphy. As a result, a highly individual style & approach is emerging. I look forward to exhibiting more work by Robin Jeree on AF2.
